I asked my daughter Lucia what she'll remember about Charlie and she said that he was "really funny." She liked playing with him on the playground because he made her be the "bad guy" and he was the "good guy" and he'd chase her "all over the place!" When he got tired, which she said he did because he was sick, he'd ask her and the other "bad and good guys" to slow down and wait for him. So they would, and then he would regain his energy and "be crazy again!" We talk about how Charlie will always live on in our hearts and through our gentle actions of kindness.
